Twitter succumbs to Mother Confessor Day trending

May 10, 2010

Fans of Legend of the Seeker drove #motherconfessorday to the top ten on May 9, 2010.

Fans of Legend of the Seeker drove #motherconfessorday to the top ten on May 9, 2010.

And we can now add another notch to our belts, as Seeker fans did finally pull out a Twitter Takeover for #motherconfessorday.

And now fans are asking if we should not go after Fathers’ Day as well. Seems like a good idea. BTW — Sister Ginevra, I was unable to reply to your message. You IM inbox was full.

Legend of the Seeker fans are setting new goals and brainstorming new ideas. Don’t hold back. But do please try to think in terms of how to build viewership for the show going forward.

What can you do to help make other people aware of the show? I noticed on one Twitter account the background had been set to a picture of people standing on the street with placards saying, “Watch Legend of the Seeker!” Now that’s the spirit of fannish support!

ABC Studios and Disney, make this the best Mother Confessor Day ever. Announce some good news in the morning, okay?

  1. Hi there,
you were writing about building a bigger viewership. If there is artwork about Legend of the Seeker out there, the fans could use. They could let it print on a T-shirt with the local airing time and the request for people to check it out. It is like a walking billboard. (It is actually amazing how many people reading those things). And almost every good copy shop can put a picture on a shirt.
